Proposal Templates

Applicants should prepare their proposals in accordance with one of the Foundation's proposal templates. Please choose the template that best matches the project for which you are seeking support:

 

  • General Template When in doubt, use this one.
  • Book Template Use for single-author book projects.
  • Conference/Working Group Template Use when seeking support for a conference or working group. Please note that the Foundation only supports such projects when they include an original research component and result in a published product.

In addition to its primary grant making programs, the Foundation sponsors special grant programs each year. They have their own proposal and budget requirements. Applicants to these programs should not submit a concept paper. Their proposals should conform to one of the three templates available below:
