Apprenticeship and Education: Learning for Life

Stephen Hamilton will research and write a book exploring the role that apprenticeships could play in creating economic opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. He will synthesize a body of research on the effectiveness of apprenticeships in the United States and elsewhere, identify the barriers to expanding apprenticeships in the United States, and explore how other countries have overcome those barriers.
