Breaking Out of Quarantine: War Gaming a Chinese Blockade of Taiwan

Mark Cancian, Eric Heginbotham, and Matthew Cancian will lead an effort to assess potential outcomes associated with a Chinese blockade of Taiwan. They will develop and execute a series of twenty war games that would test how different Chinese blockade approaches could interact with prospective U.S. and allied responses. The project’s findings will be presented in a report.
