Janice Eberly and Jón Steinsson will commission and edit research on critical economic policy issues including the sustainability of federal budget deficits, the causes of rising home prices, the wealth effects associated with accommodative monetary policy, and the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on employment rates. Commissioned work will be published in the biannual journal Brookings Papers on Economic Activity.
