Countering China’s Digital Authoritarianism: Investing in Digital Infrastructure in the Global South

Kenton Thibaut, Jochai Ben-Avie, Graham Brookie, and Rose Jackson will explore how U.S. policymakers could most effectively counter China’s efforts to dominate global digital infrastructure. They will draw on existing data and research to examine China’s approach to technology competition and tech diplomacy. The project’s findings will appear in two reports and a series of briefings.
