Guardians of the Belt and Road: The Role of Private Military Security Companies in China’s Overseas Interests

Sergey Sukhankin will examine the activities of China’s overseas private military security companies. He will analyze primary and secondary materials on China’s firms and conduct interviews with policymakers, military officials, journalists, members of civil society organizations, and experts from Russia and the central Asian states. The project’s findings will be published in a series of reports.
