Helping Students Succeed in School: Identifying Effective Approaches to Reducing Student Absenteeism

Michael Gottfried and Vi-Nhuan Le will identify interventions that can improve opportunities for students to succeed academically and later in life by reducing rates of absenteeism from school. They will undertake a systematic research review and a meta-analysis of evaluations of interventions designed to reduce student absenteeism. The project’s findings will appear in a research paper and a policy brief.
