Robert Soofer will study how the United States should adapt its homeland missile defense capabilities in response to North Korea’s growing ballistic missile capabilities, the possibility of a Russian or Chinese limited nuclear strike against the United States in the event of war, and the reinvigorated competition over missile defense technology. The project’s findings will appear in a report.
