Iran’s Expeditionary Coalition: The Axis of Resistance’s Military Component

Frederick Kagan and Nicholas Carl will lead an effort to examine the campaigns of the Iranian-led coalition known as the Axis of Resistance. The project will translate a body of Iranian writings concerning Tehran’s regional strategy, examine the statements and publications of Iran’s partners, and use social media to conduct open-source analysis on both the Axis of Resistance and anti-regime activists in Iran. The project’s findings will appear in a series of papers.
