John Taylor will commission research and edit a volume assessing how a variety of approaches toward monetary policy have performed over the past fifty years. The volume will feature research on issues such as the Federal Reserve’s interpretation of its mandate, how the conduct of monetary policymaking has evolved over time, and the Federal Reserve’s role in regulating the financial sector.
