The Future of Naval Power

Bill Hamblet, Brian O’Rourke, and Paul Giarra will lead an effort to explore the future of U.S. sea services. They will commission research on issues related to naval warfare; sponsor an essay contest, open to all authors, on operational aspects of the future of naval power; and publish follow-on articles by senior leaders and other authors. The findings from the project will be published in USNI forums and an issue of its magazine, Proceedings.
