Bradley Parks and Ammar Malik will examine the nature, scale, composition, and strategic aims of China’s overseas lending program in the industrialized world. They will collect and analyze data on official-sector financial flows from China to advanced economies from 2000 to 2023. The project will result in a publicly accessible database and the findings from the analysis will appear in a report.
