Heidi Williams will direct the research program of a policy lab focused on how best to increase innovation in the economy and boost economic growth. The lab will produce research on the extent to which intellectual property laws promote innovation, the effectiveness of research funding strategies at government agencies, and the role that immigrants play in fostering innovation. The policy lab’s output will appear in a series of papers, reports, and policy briefs.
