Veronica Minaya and Judith Scott-Clayton will lead the research program of a policy lab examining how higher education can most effectively increase economic opportunity and social mobility. The lab will analyze data from the City University of New York on student characteristics and school performance alongside wage records from the state of New York to track student transitions from college to employment and to test a variety of interventions designed to support student success in the labor market. The policy lab’s findings will appear in a series of reports, papers, and policy briefs.
